Sharp (Turner); his sons, Roderick Sharp (Zulay) of Reston, VA and Terrence Sharp of Dayton, OH; his grandson Rodrigo Sharp; his sisters, Mildred Green and Iris Majette; his goddaughters, Cynthia Turner-Thomas of Newark, DE and Lisa Young-Lynch of Suffolk, VA; his daughters, Ebony Brown and Connie Guy; his nieces and nephews, Joan Sharpe McCullough, Jessica Sharpe, Ginger Melton Joanne Jones (Victor), Lesley Green, Christopher Howington (Vanessa), Jonathan and Jonah Green; and his parents-in-law, Iris Turner of Salisbury, MD, Catherine Piper of Suffolk, VA, Gloria (Ernest) of Milford, DE, Frances Watson of New Orleans, LA, Jeanette Christian of Dover, DE, Georgette Baynard of Dover, DE, Dr. Alvin Turner (Katherine) of Elkton, MD, James Turner, Sr., La Plata, MD and Dr. Carl Turner (Jerri) of Wilmington, DE. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In Delaware, he attended services at Bethel A. M. E. Church in Milford, DE with his wife prior to the pandemic, but then chose to listen to and/or view services from Bethel and several churches virtually.
