With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen M. Bennett of Milford, Delaware, who passed away on May 23, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gugliette and Dolores Gugliette; her husband Harold "Gene" Bennett; her niece Lisa Cassino; her sister Debra Giardina; her nephew Eric Caves; and her pet Nibbles.
She is survived by: her daughter Carrie Hovatter (Matt); her grandchildren, Cameron, Jacob and Owen Hovatter; her siblings, Diane Ward, Paula Sandidge (Tom) and Jim Gugliette (Sharon); and her nieces and nephews, Angelina Giardina (Joe), Julie Giardina (Tony), Vincent Cassino (Chrissy), Jimmy Gugliette (Leigh), Jason Gugliette of Jon Gugliette, T. J, Sandidge (Michelle) and Joe Giardina.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Stallings Funeral Home (3111 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
