He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Spurlock and Demetra B. Spurlock (Christopolus). He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Spurlock (Shafer); his sons, William Spurlock (Jennifer) and Brian Spurlock (Trisha); his grandchildren, Brooke Campbell (Dylan), Alyssa Spurlock, Nicholas Spurlock, Matthew Spurlock, Andrew Spurlock and Jacob Spurlock; and his sister Mary Ann Hatfield (Spurlock). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gonce Funeral Service (4001 Ritchie Hwy, Brooklyn Park, MD 21225). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (5829 Ritchie Hwy, Baltimore, MD 21225).
