He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Koppenhaver and Pearl Koppenhaver; and his son David Lee Koppenhaver. He is survived by: his wife Carol Koppenhaver; his children, Robert J. Koppenhaver (Mary), Michael Koppenhaver (Jennifer Montgomery) and Jennifer Koppenhaver (Matthew Hinkle); his daughter-in-law Sharon Koppenhaver; his grandchildren, Ashley West (Chris), Alyssa Picone, Davis Koppenhaver (Cadie), Paige Raysor (Collin), Emma Koppenhaver, Alex Koppenhaver, Lance Benitez and Joaquin Benitez; his great grandchildren, Blake, Aubrey, Caden, Gunner and Hayes; and his brothers, Larry and Craig Koppenhaver.
