He is survived by: his wife Susan Messick of Millsboro, DE; his daughters, Bonnie Gillett (Evan) of West Minster, MD and Kimberly Messick of Millsboro, DE; his siblings, Edward B. Messick (Barbara) and Loretta Messick of Millsboro, DE.; his grandchildren, Tony Messick of Millsboro, DE and Bethany Gillett of West Minster, MD; and his great grandchild Lakelyn Goodwin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
