She was predeceased by: her father Elwood Wright; and her stepfather James Hartman. She is survived by: her mother Shirley Hartman; her daughters, Elyse Flores and Kayla Flores; her sister Sharon Browning; her half-siblings, Nicole Gleason and Kirk Wright; and her stepbrothers, David Hartman and Mark Hartman. She is also survived by nieces and one nephew.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Barbara's memory to a local animal shelter.
