We are sad to announce that, on January 7, 2026, at the age of 87, Betty Marie Layfield of Millsboro, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Webb and Lillie Webb; her husband Stanley Layfield; and her brothers, Ralph Webb and Bobby Webb.
She is survived by: her sisters, Janet Marvel and Sarah Lee Mitchell; her children, Kim Daisey (PattiJo), Arline Simmons (John) and Laura Elliott (Paul); her stepsons, Wallace Layfield (Wanda) and Wayne Layfield; her sisters-in-law, Sandra Layfield and Charlotte Layfield; her grandchildren, Kristin Simmons, Carter Murphy (Jenna), John T. Simmons (Miranda), Jenna Zitzmann (Eric), Matthew Murphy (Taylor) and Gilmer Hererra (Yessi); and her great grandchildren, Joey, Eli, Annamarie, Onix, Elliott, Emily and Liam.
