She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel G. Engler and Mabel L. Engler (Harvey); her husband Donald W. Kane; her brother Carl S. Engler of Longwood, FL; her son-in-law Richard Stephens of Pocomoke, MD; and her cousin Vannett D. Pfeiffer of Millsboro, DE..

She is survived by: her children, Michael D. Kane (Darla) of Laurel Hill, FL, Patrick J. Kane of Lewes, DE and Brenda Kane Stephens; her grandson Nathan K. Stephens of Delmar, MD.; her daughter Grace of Lancaster, PA; and her sister-in-law Eloise Huntington Engler of Winter Springs, FL.. She is also survived by four nieces and one nephew.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Lewes Building Fund, 1001 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE.
