He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah James Collins and Georgia Anna Collins (Daisey); and his siblings, Paul, Darlene, Carmel, Floyd, Elsie, Bob and Carol.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vickie Veasey (Tom) and Lisa Perdue; his siblings, Gerald Collins (Dorothy) of Gumboro and Betty Rust (Everett) of Millsboro; his wife June; his pet Duke; his son Donald Collins Jr. (Kim); and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Kaden, Ashlynn, Allie, Olivia, Judson, Sam, Scarlett, Colton and Preston. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
