He is survived by: his children, William Bethards (Tina) of Fredericksburg, VA, Felicia White of Millsboro, DE, Elmer Bethards Jr. of Millsboro, DE and Kindall Bethards of Millsboro, DE.; his grandchildren, Shana Holum, Bianca Snyder, Marshell Bethards, Blade Bethards and Christina Bethards; his great grandchildren, Tyler Holum, Isaiah Dukes, Makayla White, Jayden White, Dominic White, Kamearon White, Hayden Kenton, Emberly LeCates, Isaiah Bethards and Aiden Bethards; his siblings, Theodore Bethards (Margarete) and April Bethards of Millsboro, DE; his siblings' children, Rico Turlington and Renee Turlington-Tolliver; his uncle Jack Vann; and his cousin George Oney.
