He was predeceased by: his parents, William Major and Carrie Major (Decker); his wife Martha Jane Major (McKay); and his brother William Major. He is survived by: his children, George A. Major, Jr. (Donna) of Norristown, James W. Major (Linda) of Lansdale and Catharine "Kate" Boulton Millsboro (John); his grandchildren, Maria Elena (Thomas), Danielle (Paul), Donna (David), George III (Jamie), James (Gavin), Jason, Steven (Rebecca) and Nicole (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Elena Marie, Annaliese, Thomas, Bella, Nicholas, Olivia, Lucas, Parker, George IV, Theodore, James, William, Alexia and Grayson; and his great great grandchildren, Evelyn Mae and Mateo. He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
