It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henrietta Hayes (Millsboro, Delaware), born in Ocean View, Delaware, who passed away on October 6, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Leroy "Sonny" Hayes; her sons, Azzinaro Hayes of Chaparral, NM, Herbert Holden (Patricia) of Capitol Heights, MD, Henry Holden, Sr. of Ocean City, MD and Harvey Holden (Melissa) of Selbyville, DE; her sisters, Rose Mary Woodlyn of Sacramento, CA and Bessie Whitney of Fenwick, DE; her siblings-in-law, Mary Whitney of Dover, DE and Andrew Beckett (Celeste) of Accomac, VA; her adoptive sons, Ira "Yankee" Bull, Steve Willey, James Williams and Elder James Short; and her sisters, Andrea Dismuke, Doris D'Orazio, Mary Watson, Phynette Kingsberry, Ruth Walker, Lillie Showell and Anna Ford. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
