He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Arty and Mary Ann Scheid Arty; his grandparents, Pearl, Henry Scheid, Madeline and John Artymowicz; and his nephew John Hamilton.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Arty; his daughters, Shannan Eisenklam (Michael) and Gwendolyn Frederick (Brian); his grandchildren, Lily Eisenklam, Adeline Frederick, Grant Eisenklam and Stella Frederick; and his siblings, Janis Hamilton (Frank) and John Arty (Nancy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
