He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Absher and Ina Absher; and his siblings, Richard Absher, Dexter Absher, Leroy Absher and Barbara Warfle.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Absher; his children, John Absher (Judy), Kevin J. Absher, Jason Horsman (Patty) and Karly Rankin (Patrick); his sisters, Anne "Susie" Brittingham, Diana West (Richard) and Nancy Passwaters; his grandchildren, Anita Absher, Christine Absher, Kevin Absher Jr., TJ Absher, Ina Absher, Kaila Brooks-Coleman (Amir), Gaby Horsman, Julia Horsman, Austin Horsman, Paige Rankin, Kaebrie Rankin and Kestyn Rankin; and his great grandchildren, Keelan Brooks-Coleman, Kaislee Brooks-Coleman, Anna Bell Absher and Jacie Absher. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
