She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Collins and Omeda Collins (Taylor); and her brother E. Wayne Collins. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Townsend; her brother Gene Collins; her sons, Mack Townsend (Sandra) and Marvin Townsend (Kelly); and her grandchildren, Austin Townsend, Jamie Townsend and Kara Funkhouser. She is also survived by her three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. George's Church in her memory.
