He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Klatcher, Sr. and Marion Klatcher (Heise); his brother Peter Klatcher; his daughter Christine Klatcher; and his sisters, Karen Minnix and Robin Campisi.

He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Klatcher (Flood); his children, John David Klatcher (Carol), Michael Klatcher (Karen), Stephen Klatcher (Noel) and Stephanie Stumpo (Joseph); his sister Hope Monosso; and his half-brother Joseph Knuttel. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
