We announce the death of Jonathan Warne Swingle of Millsboro, Delaware, born in Neptune, New Jersey, who passed away on June 7, 2026, at the age of 72. Jonathan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel E. Swingle (O'Hara) and Dr. Donald M. Swingle. He is survived by: his wife Diane Benson; his children, Jason Swingle (Aleia), Joseph Benson (Megan) and Shannon Balsai (Thomas); his siblings, Donna Beth Luce (Dennis) and Donald Swingle, Jr. (Fran Metzger); his grandchildren, Roan, Abigail and Morgan; and his pets, Griffin, Hickory and Fenwick.
