We announce the death of Lauren Robert Wallace (Millsboro, Delaware), who passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 87. Lauren will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Lauren will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Lauren will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Lauren’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Janelle Hansen, Jon Wallace and Bill Wallace; and his brother Marvin Wallace (Ellen).
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Georgetown Chapel (609 E Market St, Georgetown, DE 19947). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Short Funeral Services (609 E Market St, Georgetown, DE 19947). A burial was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery (26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966).
