It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melda Bengston of Millsboro, Delaware, born in Indiana, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Paul J. Bengston; her parents, Mary E. Good Good (Garretson) and Ernest L. Good; her sister Marilyn J. Howell; and her daughter-in-law Karen A. Bengston.
She is survived by: her children, David P. Bengston of Avondale, Pennsylvania and Deborah L. Bengston of Middletown, Delaware; her granddaughters, Jana C. DeNobrega (Patrick), Sara K. Malloy (Ryan) and Maya M. Bengston; her great grandchildren, Jackson P. DeNobrega, Samuel L. Malloy and Rosie P. Malloy; and her sister Joan L. Allwine. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, her family suggests donations to Epworth United Methodist Church for garden beautification.
