He was predeceased by: his father Melvin H. Johns; his brother Bruce D. Johns; and his stepfather Julius Houston. He is survived by: his mother Nettie G. Houston; his siblings, Gloria Haynes, Bernadine Johns, Vastine Days, Deborah Johns and Wayne Johns; and his close friends, James Brooks and Paul Downes. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Evan W. Smith Funeral Services - Dover (518 S Bay Rd, Dover, DE 19901). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery (26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966).
