He was predeceased by: his parents, Oswald Thiel (Bub) and Marie Thiel (Saunders); and his sister Joanne Powers. He is survived by: his wife Nettie Thiel (Carollo); his daughters, Christine Tirney (Kevin) and Denise DelCasale; his sisters, Kathryn Williamson (Michael) and Gina Thiel; his grandchildren, Natalie Rayer (Phil), Jake DelCasale (Amber), Colin Tirney (Kelsey) and Devon Tirney; and his great grandchildren, Janae, Rose Rayer, Declan Tirney and Dio DelCasale.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Mary Campbell Center in New Castle County Delaware would be sincerely appreciated.
