He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz Loewenstein and Virginia Loewenstein; and his children, Edward and Freda. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his siblings, Mary (Les), Suzanne (Guy), Joan (Chris) and Minh (Kim); and his pets, Libby, Hans and Fritz. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
