He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Kate Sorrells and Candler Sorrells. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Sampson; his children, Thomas E. Sorrells Jr., Michael L. Sorrells, Dianna L. Turner (Robert), Anthony Sorrells (Carla), Jacqueline Sorrells and Donna M. Sorrells; his granddaughter Donna; his sisters-in-law, Remell Sorrells and Mildred Johnson; his grandchildren, Anthony G. Sorrells Jr., Lauren Myers, Eric Turner, Brittany Heath, Joequetta Sorrells and Gregory Sorrells; and his cousins, Hoyt and Mary Sorrells. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
A burial will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery (26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966).
