She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton C. Briddell and Wilhemenia D. Briddell; her aunt Sarah; and her stepchild Delema Shelton. She is survived by: her uncle Carlton Smack; her son Marcus D. Briddell; her husband Gifford J. Hopkins; and her stepsons, Rodney Hopkins and Perry Hopkins. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
