William Leonard McHugh Obituary

William Leonard McHugh (Billy) passed away at the age of 37. Billy was born in Parma Ohio on August 26, 1984 and was living in Long Neck Delaware at the time of his death.

Billy was an avid sports fan with basketball being his favorite sport. He loved the Sixers, the Eagles, the Phillies and the Flyers. Michael Jordan and Mugsy Bogues were two of his favorite players. He worked hard, He played hard, and he loved deeply. He cared from the bottom of his heart and the depth of his soul.

Billy is survived and greatly missed by his parents Craig and Terry, His brother Jim, (Ashley), his sister Carly (Jon), his niece Brinnleigh and brand new niece Cassidy and his grandmother Carol J McHugh; not to mention numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. His friends were also his family. Devan, Adam, Rick, Dom, Lexi, Jimbo , Jon, Jerry and so many more you had his heart and his back and as his family we are forever grateful for you.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 2nd 2021 at 1:00 PM at 34201 Laurel Way N Long Neck De 19966. Due to the current situation with Covid we are respectfully asking that if you are not vaccinated that you kindly wear a mask as Billy would want nothing more than to err on the side of caution to protect his father, his nieces and any one else who may be immune compromised or at risk.
