He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Preston and Mary Carletti Preston; his wife Patricia L. Harris Preston; his child Gene Scott; and his brother Edward Preston.
He is survived by: his daughter Carmela Spada (Scott); his grandchildren, Brittany Spada (Paul) and Nicholas Scott; and his great grandchildren, Blyler, McKenna, Julie and Maeve.
