With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria Jean Hallowell of Milton, Delaware, born in Woodbury, New Jersey, who passed away on December 24, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles McIlvaine and Jean McIlvaine; her brother Charles "Butch" McIlvaine; and her nephew Jay McIlvaine. She is survived by : her husband John "Jack" Michael Hallowell of Milton, DE; her son John Christopher Hallowell of Greenbackville, VA; her siblings, Patricia Mennick of Crossville, TN, Cheryl Marino of Paulsboro, NJ and Bradford McIlvaine of Providence, RI; and her niece Jenifer Manero of Glassboro, NJ..
