He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Pollitt and Nora Pollitt (Brady); his wife Normandie Pollitt; and his sister Mudge Matson. He is survived by: his children, Kelley Kosinski (Andrew), Kerri Heaney, Leonard H. Pollitt (Amy) and Colleen Delp (Brian); and his grandchildren, Tori Kosinski of Savannah Heaney, T. J, Searra Pollitt, Sean Pollitt, Brianna Delp and Brandon Delp. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium-Atkins-Lodge Chapel (16961 Kings Hwy, Lewes, DE 19958). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
