She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles O. Miller and Margaret E. Miller (Thomas); her husband Neil D. Essick; her son Charles Mark Essick; and her siblings, Charles Miller, Robert Miller, Jess Miller and Olive Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Lauren Jenkins of Milton, DE and Matthew Essick of Harper's Ferry, WV; her granddaughter Whittney Essick of Frederick, MD; and her sibling's children, Eugenie Wolf, Debra Jacky, Heidi Yovich and Richard Anderson.
