As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Victor may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Bernard Riston and Evangeline Riston; and his grandmother Mary Etta Riston. He is survived by: his wife Mary Riston; his sisters, Kathleen Halcomb of Fuquay Varina, NC and Christine Brown (Wally) of Frisco, TX; and his children, Beth Johnson (Bill) and Rick Gabriel. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandsons.
