We are sad to announce that, on August 17, 2025, at the age of 78, William Mitchell of Milton, Delaware, born in Lewes, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry William's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May William's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter "Pete" Mitchell and Helen E. Fraser; his stepfather Milton Fraser; and his wife Barbara Mitchell. He is survived by: his sisters, Louellen Lake (Bob) and Patricia Guy; his niece Staci Jelley (Greg); and his nephew Kris Lake (Kristin). He is also survived by many extended family members including aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces, and a great-nephew.
