She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hall and Savannah Hall; her siblings, Charlie, Willie, Emma, Kate, Virgie, Ruth and Alfred; her husband Charles Homer; her daughter-in-law Genelle Homer; her grandson Shawn Lockhart Sr.; and her goddaughter Petula Lloyd.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Gooden (Larry), Anthony Homer (Beverly), Shelly Cannady, Leon Homer (Michele), Debe Langston and Juliann Coleman (Kevin); her grandchildren, Tony Homer (Kia), Corey Cannady, Tiffany Matthews (Antione), Sherelle Lockhart, Iris Harris (Kenny), Von Homer, Troy Cannady (April), Brian Homer (Syreena), Sharon Hamilton (Chris), Lauren Kirton (Desmond), Janora Payne (Darren), Joyce Allen (Antione), Kevin Coleman (Briana), Kyle Coleman, Nisha Fields, Eugene Morgan and Genae Mills; her great grandchildren, Corey Haymon, Donovan Frederique, Daniel Homer, Kai Homer, Jaylen Allen, Jada Allen, Jasmine Allen, Shawn Lockhart, Caron Cannady, Cameron Homer, Tessa Homer, Luke Hamilton Chase Homer, Logan Watson, Kendall Homer, Savannah Homer, Tylen Cannady, Andrew Homer, Riley Lockhart, Wesley Payne, Cody Matthews, Kaiyah Coleman, Kenny Harris, Tegan Cannady, Avery Payne, Audrey Payne, Zai Coleman and Asiya Coleman; her great great grandchild Ariyah Hayman; and her godchildren, Janora Ware and Tony Coleman.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 828 Frenchtown Rd E, New Castle, DE 19720. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Gracelawn Memorial Park (2220 N Dupont Hwy, New Castle, DE 19720).
