It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Isler (New Castle, Delaware), who passed away on April 4, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Shackleford and Coreina Shackleford; her husband Frank Isler Jr.; her sons, Ronnie E. Isler and James A. Isler; and her siblings, Frederic, Larry, Lester, Ervin, Roger, Jerry Shackleford, Nellie Brown, Clematine Bryant, Judy Davis, Delphine Smith and Grace Shackleford.
She is survived by: her children, Linda C. Isler and Frank Isler III; her grandchildren, Maurice D. Isler, Joshua M. Isler, Jeramie Isler, Arthur Isler, Ryan Johnson and Tyrone Drummer; and her sisters, Mary Mumford (Melvin) of Grifton and Deborah Cogdell (Robert) of Kinston. She is also survived by her 5 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
