He was predeceased by: his sisters, Linda Smith and Jeri Robertson; and his cousin Wilmer "Bill" Mills. He is survived by: his children, Kenyetta Yvette McCurdy-Byrd (Antonio M. Byrd) and Anthony Vincent McCurdy, Jr.; his wife Toni McCurdy; his grandsons, Jalen McCurdy-Woodruff and Anthony Amir Woodruff; his nieces, Lisa Stott, Dana Smith and Karen Smith; his nephew Corey Smith; his cousins, Barbara Hutchins Corsey (Howard) and Janet Mills; and his son-in-law Antonio M. Byrd.
