She was predeceased by: her father Alan C. King; and her grandparents, Jacqueline Carter-Fawcett, Leroy and Mary King. She is survived by: her mother Gwendolyn D. King; her husband Tyriq Malcom; her daughter Alana M. Malcom; her sister Jacqueline King; her nephew Quincy King; her niece Narie King; her grandfather Elmer Carter; her in-laws, Tyrone, Robin Malcom and Tiara Malcom; her goddaughter Bronx; her aunts and uncles, Darren Carter (Karen), Kazi Toures, John King, Robert Carter (LaCrisha), Marva King, Pammy Carter, Dora Beckham, Ava Carter, Amber Stairs, Daniel King, Arnold King, Darlene and Patricia King; and her friends, Chima, Brandon, Brian, Reality and Ryiel.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor her memory to contribute to Alana's college fund and to support her husband as they continue building the life she cherished so deeply.
