He was predeceased by: his parents, Beldon Edward and Francis Sterling, Sr. (Tull); and his siblings, Julia Hensley (Reginald), Jerry L. Sterling (Sandi) and Debby Sterling.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sterling (Spence); his sons, Beldon E. Sterling III (Noelle), James A. Sterling, Sr. and Daniel L. Sterling; his brother Michael D. Sterling (Dawn); and his mother-in-law Audrey Spence. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
