She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood C. Kibler, and Elizabeth A. Kibler, Sr. (Stinson); and her husband Robert J. Thompson, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Michael E. Thompson, Sr. (Reagan), Robert J. "Joey" Thompson, Jr. (Kelly) and Brian N. Thompson, Sr. (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Mikey, Karley, Brian, Jr., Caleb, Noah and Hunter; her niece Breanna; and her nephews, Austin and Gabriyela.
