She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert C. (Mildred E. Lovelace Narvell) and Connie; her husband Jamus A. Griffin; and her siblings, Betsy Kent, Midge Swartz and Robert Narvell.

She is survived by : her children, Jim Griffin (Kay), Larona Walls (William), Michael Griffin Sr. (Shirley), Thomas Griffin (Janet), Rick Griffin Sr. and Tami Shahadi (Andy); and her brothers, Timothy and Scott Narvell. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
