He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. José Bocanegra Acevedo and Juanita Charríez of Bocanegra; and his sister Izlia Loida. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Deborah, David (Arlene), Dani and Daron; and his brother José. He is also survived by his niece, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandson.
