It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deacon Royzell Aldridge Sr. of New Castle, Delaware, born in Salem, Alabama, who passed away on October 3, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Aldridge and Hattie Dunn Armour; and his siblings, Lindsay, Marvin, Theodore "Sonny", Jake, Mildred Colquitt and Alzater Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Aiken-Aldridge; his sister Betty Jean Aiken; and his children, Willie James "Bobby" Frazier, Royzell Aldridge Jr. (Joyce), Andrea Edmonds (Larry), Jacqueline A. of Washington, Linda Speight, Norma Martin and Lakeitha Holland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
