He was predeceased by : his parents, Phillip Yanick and Josephine Worgan Yanick; and his siblings, John Yanick, Stella Sabotchick, Francis Dabulis, Angeline Galinski and Phyllis Dushenshine.

He is survived by : his son Dennis; his wife Grace Yanick (Whary); his son Donald A. Yanick (Karen); his grandchildren, Dennis W, Brittany, Sydney and Nathan; and his sister Esther Will.
