She was predeceased by: her parents, Reid John Turner and Pauline Pritchett-Torrence; and her siblings, Samuel Turner, Reid Turner, Lillie Turner and Mary Turner.
She is survived by: her children, Kermit Currington (Rose), Craig Currington (Selena), Joseph Currington, Wanda Baxter-Cropper, Mary Smith, Theresa Marsh (Oliver) and Elizabeth Gaines (Kevin); and her siblings, Eugene Turner (Sharon), Abdullah Turner, Enman Torrence and Mary Trotter. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren.
