He was predeceased by: his parents, Marselino Marrero and Monserate Cardosa; and his brother Santos Marrero. He is survived by: his former wife Laura Marrero; his children, Carmen, Neomi and Norma; his stepchildren, Maribel, Pablo, Martiza and Janet; his siblings, Librada Marrero, Domingo Marrero and Benny Marrero; his children, Kelvin Marrero, Wilson Marrero and Maria Martinez; his great grandchild Giovanni Flores; and his grandchildren, Audaz Mercado Jr., Andre Mercado, Evelyn Rivera, Kelvin Marrero Burgos and Melani Marrero.
