She was predeceased by : her parents, Anthony Kempski and Elsie Kempski (Kwoka); her children, Joseph L Kowalski, Jr. and Frances R. Stranahan (Kowalski); her brother Paul Kempski; and her sisters-in-law, Anita Kempski and Elba Kempski.

She is survived by : her children, Karen Ward-Chance (David), David Kowalski (Diane) and Ronnie Kowalski; her brothers, Anthony Kempski, Sr. and Ronald Kempski (Virginia); her grandchildren, Daniel Kowalski (Michele), Jennifer Ward, Robert, Ward, Jamie Kowalski, Alison Kowalski, Andrew Kowalski, Caitlyn Kowalski, Victoria Kowalski of Ronnie, Edward Stranahan and Frances Phillips (Steve); and her great grandchildren, Camron, Philip, Thomas, Paige, Kali, Kaylee, Eddie and Bryce.
