He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace A. Levering and Sallie Levering (Foster); his wife Eleanor Levering (Lipinski); his son John L. Levering; his siblings, Donald Levering and Doris Pavlik; and his son-in-law Joe Briggs.
He is survived by: his children, Linda A. Briggs and Kenneth H. Levering (Denise); his grandchildren, Stacey Malm, Christopher Briggs, Amanda Levering, Justin Levering and Michelle Briggs; and his nieces, Sallie Lee Midash and Ellen Hahn. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
