He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hatfield; his children, Jay Hatfield (Grace) of Bend, OR, Kevin Hatfield of New Castle, DE and Kimberly Fresconi (Frank) of Newark, DE; his grandchildren, Mikayla, Jacob, Emma, Liam and Owen; his sister Shirley Rash of Elkton, MD; and his brother-in-law Keith Thurman of Elkton, MD..
