She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hopkins and Carrie Hopkins. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Walters, Carrie (Jamie), Wendy Smith-Kerr (John) and Andrew; her grandchildren, Julia, Brendan, Danny, Phillip, Breanna, Eric, Kelly, Zane, Esme, Johnny, Adam and Emily; her great grandchildren, Henry and Forest; her sisters, Florence and Sonia; Charles, Chuck Smith and Bill Walters. She is also survived by many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
