It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Granville Boyer of New Castle, Delaware, born in West Chester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Gladys Holliday Boyer; and his father-in-law William L. Wilmer (Bill). He is survived by: his father Joseph Granville Boyer; his wife Dawnya; his children, Ursula E. Boyer of Middletown, Delaware and John G. Boyer, Jr. (Kerry Ann) of Newark, Delaware; his grandchildren, Aliyah K. Ali of Middletown, Layla A. Boyer and Joseph A. Boyer of Newark Delaware; and his brothers, J. David Boyer (Martha) of Valley Township and Kevin T. Boyer (Sharon) of West Grove. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his church family.
