We announce the death of Julian F Busbee Sr. of New Castle, Delaware, who passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Hairston; and his grandparents, Walter and Lossie Busbee. He is survived by: his significant other Gilda M. Scott; his son Julian F. Busbee Jr.; his grandchildren, Jaida McKoy (Joseph), Jalen R. Busbee and Kamia Briggs; and his great grandchild Joseph McKoy Jr.. He is also survived by Pop Pop and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Evan W. Smith Funeral Services - Wilmington (201 N Union St, Wilmington, DE 19805). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
