He was predeceased by: his mother Arlene Gallant (Conley); his siblings, Christine Brunet, Edward Gallant, James Gallant and Peter Gallant; his parents-in-law, Margaret Mayberry and James Mayberry; his brother-in-law Paul Brunet; his sister Peggy; and his brother-in-law George Casson.
He is survived by: his father Joseph Edward; his wife Patricia A. Gallant (Mayberry); his children, Jeanie Durney (Andrew "Andy"), Laurie Gallant (Deacon Patrick Johnston), Robert "Buzzy" Gallant and Lance Gallant II; his sisters, Sharon Perreault and Rosemary Gallant; and his siblings-in-law, Marie Carroll, MaryAnn Mayberry, Norman Carroll and John Mayberry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their children.
